Extrema Fishing Spain 5 night Carp Fishing Competition on The Orellana Sunday 9th to Friday 14th November 2008:
Extrema Fishing Spain have managed to secure permissions for a 5 night Carp Fishing Competition on The Orellana to take place from Sunday 9th to Friday 14th November 2008. We offer you the opportunity to take part in this one-off event and fish alongside well known anglers over the 6 days and 5 nights. Competitors can enter as pairs or individuals as there will be prizes for both categories, a donation to charity will be given from every entrance fee. With approx 9 km of bank reserved there will be plenty of space and many known productive swims. Excellent media coverage is expected for this one off event, angling publications from the UK will be covering it, Spanish Carp Magazines and Spain's National TV will also be invited. Entrance Details We are pleased to offer 2 simple options to participate in this event. Firstly is the Package Deal for those who prefer an organised package with everything arranged for you, all you will need to do is organize your flights. Secondly for those who prefer to drive using their own tackle, bait and equipment, is the Self Arrive option. Included in the entrance fee for all contestants in both options, is a social evening over a meal and accommodation on the night of arrival. Breakfast the following morning before the competition begins. On the day the competition ends, an evening meal at the presentation and a nights accommodation before your departure the following morning. Package Deal Option Contestants will fly to Madrid where luxury transport will be waiting to transfer you to your accommodation for the night. After breakfast the following morning 4x4 vehicles will transfer you to your peg where you can settle in and enjoy the fishing. Breakfast, packed lunches, evening meals and bait will be delivered to you daily. Quality equipment such as bivvys, bedchairs, rods, rodpods, alarms, landing nets etc will be provided. Included in the package deal Fishing over 6 days and 5 nights Airport Transfers - Madrid Barajas Airport Evening meal and accommodation on night of arrival Breakfast on morning competition commences 4x4 transport to swims Evening meal at presentation Accommodation on night before departure All breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals delivered to your swim Licences Fishing tackle and equipment Bait Donation to charity Flights are not included Details of Equipment provided Bivvy and 3 leg bed chairs 3 or 3.5lb test rods, spod rod, rod pods, swingers and alarms landing nets and unhooking mats All necessary equipment except for reels, end tackle, torches and sacks Please feel free to bring your own rods, equipment etc. Total price for the Package Deal 595.00 GBP Per Person Flights are not included Self Arrive Option Contestants wishing to make there own travel arrangements, use their own tackle, equipment and bait. Participants on the self arrive option will be subject to an entrance fee to include the following.. Fishing over 6 days and 5 nights Evening meal and accommodation on night of arrival Breakfast on morning competition commences Evening meal at presentation Accommodation on night before departure Licences Donation to charity Total price for the Self Arrive Deal 250.00 GBP Per Person Transport is not included A food package to include all other meals is optional and will be subject to an extra fee of 155.00 Euro per person Important Notes Airport transfers from Madrid will be approximately 13.00hrs Saturday 8th November. Returning transfer to arrive at Madrid approximately 13.00 hrs Saturday 15th November. For Self Arrive competitors to arrive on Saturday 8th November. The Extremadura fishing licence permits the use of 3 rods per person A list of rules will be distributed to participants in due course. Funds collected for charity will be split between the British Disabled Anglers Association and a Spanish Based charity.
